What Are AbilityOne Products?
The Javits-Wagner-O'Day (AbilityOne) Program generates employment and training for people who are blind or have other severe disabilities through Government purchases of supplies and services. These products are manufactured by organizations that belong to the National Industries for the Blind (NIB) and NISH (serving people with a range of disabilities).
Who Must Buy AbilityOne Products?
AbilityOne requirements apply to all Federal entities, military and civilian. The items Miller's offers fulfill your mandatory source requirements under CFR, Chapter 51 and FAR Subpart 8.7.
Where Can You Purchase AbilityOne Products?
AbilityOne products can only be purchased from an authorized AbilityOne distributor. As an authorized AbilityOne distributor, we work with NIB and NISH suppliers to ensure that the products you are required to purchase are in-stock and conveniently available.
When Will AbilityOne Product Be the Product of Choice?
Some commercial items have been determined to be "Essentially the Same" (ETS) as products manufactured under the AbilityOne Program. AbilityOne products will be automatically substituted for the corresponding commercial products when selected.
